Ōmokoroa Settlers’ Hall has been at the heart of the peninsula since 1928. What began in the 1920s as a modest settlers’ hall doubling as the local schoolroom has grown alongside the community it serves. As more families put down roots on the Ōmokoroa peninsula, the need for a larger gathering place became clear, and in 1975 the present hall was built. Today it stands as a living link to the area’s earliest days, still bringing people together just as it has for generations.
