Ōmokoroa Markets is a welcoming community market located in the heart of Ōmokoroa. This market is renowned for its diverse range of artisan sellers, offering unique, handcrafted goods that reflect the creativity and talent of local artisans.
This monthly community market takes place on the last Saturday of each month from 9am until 1pm at the Ōmokoroa Settlers Hall (except in December, when the Market happens on the weekend prior to Christmas – just in time to get those unique gifts in time!).
Since the market was initiated by Deb Bowden in April 2021, it has gone from strength to strength – there are at least 35+ stalls every month. The market is now firmly established as being a highly anticipated monthly event – more and more people are attending along with their families, neighbours and friends.
The market is also the ideal place to enjoy a catch up while sampling the delicious treats on offer as the Market has an in-house café offering hot drinks along with home baked goodies, plus the Ōmokoroa Lions Club does fundraising with their sausage sizzle.
